Team Sport Photos began in 1972. We are the only full-time youth sport photography company in Colorado. We are not portrait or wedding photographers who fill in our spare time with youth sport.
We began using digital equipment in 2000 and soon realized that having our own photo lab was a must. We then purchased two Gretag Net Printers and have never looked back. Having our own lab means we have the fastest turnaround time of any of our competitors. Steve David, after many years in the film printing business, began managing our digital photo lab in 2000.

Gretchen Steinbrueck started as a portrait/wedding photographer. She pioneered the youth sport photography concept in Colorado. Her 35-year career as a youth sport photographer is one of the longest in the nation.
Steve Hunter and Gretchen met in 1992. They married and Steve became a partner in Team Sport Photos. He is a photographer and is the backbone of our PR department.
Tom Whalen came on board in 2000 after a successful career with Corporate Express. Through training and education, Tom has become our lead youth sport photographer.
Chris Alexander came on board in 2000 after being a portrait/wedding photographer for 20 years.
Joey Ramos came on board in 2006. A graduate of Broomfield High School, he is now a photography major at the University of Northern Colorado.
